Chocolate Raspberry Chambord Cake

1 package of chocolate batter recipe cake mix

12 oz Semi - sweet chocolate chips

½ cup of Chambord

½ cup of raspberry jam

8 oz of sour cream

Prepare cake mix according to pakage and stir in 1 Cup chocolatechips.

Spoon into greased & flowered 9 rounded pans.

Bake @ 350 degrees 25-30 min.

Cool for 10 min & remove from pans.

Cool completely in wire racks.

Brush tops of layers with chambord using a pastry brush.

Place first layer of cake onto cake plate & spread with jam.

Top with second layer of cake.

Melt remaining choc. chips over low heat & gradually stir in sour cream.

Frost cake w/ chocolate- sour cream mixture.

Chill at least 2 hrs before serving.

For best results, prepare 2 days before serving.
